About us

Welcome to the homepage of Sri Lanka Embassy in Myanmar

Sri Lanka established diplomatic relations with Myanmar in 1949 and our Mission in Yangon was opened in the same year. It was among the first five overseas Missions opened by Sri Lanka after independence. The Myanmar Mission was opened in Colombo in 1950.
