Marble Buddha Statue at Sri Sambuddha Jayanthi Viharaya

5 feet height marble Buddha Statue was donated by Mr. Jayantha Rajakaruna, who is a member of Sri Lanka Association of Myanmar (Sri Lankan expatriate) to the Chief Incumbent of Sri Sambuddha Jayanthi Viharaya – Anuradhapura, Venerable Dr. Nugatenne Paghnananda Nayake Thero in June 2017.

This Marble Buddha Statue is worth Kyats 26 lakhs (US$ 1925 ). The Embassy has made arrangements to send it to Sri Lanka with support of the Gulf Group of Company in Myanmar in free of charge.

This Marble Buddha Statue will be placed at Sri Sambuddha Jayanthi Viharaya in Anuradhapura.,
